MUMBAI: Toyota Kirloskar Motor is all set to release its new ad for Innova featuring Bollywood star Aamir Khan. This time round, the ad features Aamir in a humorous manner even as it emphasizes IndiaÃƒÂ¢Ã¢â€šÂ¬Ã¢â€žÂ¢s first threeÃƒÂ¢Ã¢â€šÂ¬Ã¢â‚¬Å“row sedanÃƒÂ¢Ã¢â€šÂ¬Ã¢â€žÂ¢s versatility.
The two 30 second ads have been produced by Ravi Udyavar who was also behind the earlier Innova Aamir advertisements. Dentsu is the creative agency for the same.
Toyota Innova which recently touched the 50,000 landmark figure is the fastest selling car in the MPV and sedan segments in the Rs 500,000 to Rs 1.2 million range in the country today.
Aamir Khan was signed on as the brand ambassador for Innova in August last year. In the first set of ads released last year, the ÃƒÂ¢Ã¢â€šÂ¬Ã…â€œAll you DesireÃƒÂ¢Ã¢â€šÂ¬Ã‚Â theme featured the actor playing all his popular film characters. The theme of the second set of advertisements was ÃƒÂ¢Ã¢â€šÂ¬Ã…â€œEveryday, Many roles, One Car,ÃƒÂ¢Ã¢â€šÂ¬Ã‚Â wherein the versatility of the vehicle was communicated by portraying Aamir playing roles of a businessman, a son, a brother etc.
The first phase of the campaign established Innova as a car that provides the benefit of MPV along with the luxury of a passenger car while the second campaign tried to portray the versatility of Innova.
The current set of ads again features Aamir in various day to day roles ÃƒÂ¢Ã¢â€šÂ¬Ã¢â‚¬Å“ ranging from a parent, a bridegroom and an executive – using an Innova.
