MUMBAI: Director Abbas Tyrewalla, whose romantic comedy Jhoota Hi Sahi released recently, is all set to direct a thriller next.
Tyrewala, who earlier directed the hit film Jaane Tu… Ya Jaane Na, is not very happy with the response Jhoota Hi Sahi has got. Like Jaane Tu… Ya Jaane Na, Tyrewala was expecting this film to do well too. Unfortunately, the movie has opened way below expectations.
Speaking to Businessofcinema.com, Tyrewalla says, “After seeing the response of my latest film, I am trying to be very careful about what I do next. I was hoping to take a break after if this film would have done well. But looks like I need to make my next film pretty soon and I also need to work harder. I should be starting my next film reasonably soon and this time it will definitely not be a romantic comedy.”
