MUMBAI: Abhay Deol is disappointed at not being able to promote the his forthcoming film – Aisha. Deol is currently shooting in Spain for Zoya Akhtar’s Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara.
Aisha starring Sonam Kapoor and Deol is slated to release on 6 August. Since Deol had already committed his dates to Zoya Akhtar, he has been unable to be part of the initial promotions of the film Aisha that marks his return to commercial rom-com cinema.
“Abhay is trying to wrap things for Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara so that he can make it here for some of Aisha’s promotions. He is very disappointed that he could not be part of the film’s promotions but then again he had already promised Zoya his dates much in advance. He is really looking forward to the film,” said a unit member.
