Action director Verma back to Hindi cinema

MUMBAI: Action director Tinnu Verma, who directed dare devil stunts in many a Bollywood movies is back after a hiatus of two years. 


 


The action master, who has won seven Filmfare awards for best action, is contemplating to produce two Hindi movies once his Bhojpuri film releases.


 


He has directed two films – Maa Tujhhe Salaam and Baaz – A Bird in Danger. After these two projects, he started a Bhojpuri film titled Raja Thakur, which he produced and directed. The film starred Shatrughan Sinha, Manoj Tiwari, Nagma, Meghna Patel and Saundarya.


 


“After Baaz – A Bird in Danger failed at the box office, I did not know what to do. At that time Bhojpuri cinema, which was not doing well, suddenly started picking up. I also saw many Bollywood makers shifting base to Bhojpuri movies. So I too tried my hand at one of them. After I release Raja Thakur, I am planning to two movies in Hindi, which is my first love. I have not finalized any projects yet,” he says.
