MUMBAI: Actress Kunika has turned to producing films. She has launched a Bhojpuri film Maatti based on her own story. She will also be enacting in the film.
“The Bhojpuri film industry is going through a good phase. Bhojpuri films are the best way to venture into the production business. The film is made under the banner of Karma Events & Entertainment and is made on a budget of Rs 10 million (Rs 1 crore).”
Directed by Sunil Prasad, the film will star Ravi Kissen, Kunal Singh, Vijay Khare and Pankaj Dheer. One more romantic pair is under finalistaion. The film’s music will be provided by Rajesh Gupta.
