MUMBAI: Director Rohit Shetty’s Singham is all set to go on floors on 2 March, 2011.
The film is an action-packed film and is a remake of the Tamil hit of the same name. Shetty has conceptualized, designed and will be executing the action for the film himself.
For the very first sequence, the director plans to blow up 20 cars. Shetty said, “The scene is set in a parking lot, where a kidnapping takes place. It is a chase scene between Ajay and some gangsters for which we will require to blow up cars. In the shot, there will be about 200 cars out of which we will be blowing up 20 cars.”
Produced by Reliance Pictures, the film stars Ajay Devgn and Kajal Aggarwal and will be shot in Goa. The film is slated to hit theatres this July.
