MUMBAI: Akshay Kumar will be working on four movies in 2010, which are Priyadarshan’s Khatta Meetha, Sajid Nadiadwala’s Housefull, Nikhil Advani’s Patiala House and Farah Khan’s Tees Maar Khan.
In Khatta Meetha, Akshay will be seen playing a common man. Khatta Meetha is a satire based on the road-mafia prevalent in Bihar and parts of UP. Based on a true incident, this film unveils the charade of the common man. Akshay’s banner Hari Om Productions will be producing Khatta Meetha.
On the other hand, Housefull is being directed by Sajid Khan and will see Deepika Padukone opposite Akshay. Advani’s Patiala House is being co-produced by T-Series & Mukesh Talreja’s People Tree Films. Targeting a release on Diwali this year, the movie stars Anushka Sharma opposite Akshay. It also stars Rishi Kapoor and Dimple Kapadia.
Farah Khan’s Tees Maar Khan, which stars Akshay in the lead, will be co-produced by Shirish Kunder & Farah Khan’s Three’s Company and Kumar’s Hari Om Productions. The movie also stars Akshaye Khanna.
