BANGKOK: The International Indian Film Awards (IIFA) culminated on Sunday night here in Bangkok. At the gala award show, it was Akshay Kumar and Kareena Kapoor who stole the limelight with their individual performances.
Akshay made an impactful entry by sliding down a cable from one end of the auditorium to the stage. The actor cames in his Singh is Kinng get-up and performed on a song from the film. Akshay was all over the place… he sang, he jumped, he ran… and got the audience swooning over him.
On the other hand, Kareena performed on songs from her recent hit Jab We Met. Looking as gorgeous as ever, Kapoor get the mood right with her graceful moves.
The IIFA Awards also saw performances by Govinda, Katrina Kaif, Priyanka Chopra and Harman Baweja (Love Story 2050), Dia Mirza, Aftab Shivdasani (Acid Factory), Zayed Khan, Vivek Oberoi, Shriya Sharan, (Mission Istanbul) and De Taali.
The awards were hosted by Boman Irani, Ritesh Deshmukh, Karan Johar and Urmila Matondkar.
