MUMBAI: Akshay Kumar will soon be going the Salman Khan way by going shirtless for his forthcoming film, Housefull 2. Kumar will go shirtless in Antarctica for Sajid Nadiadwala’s Housefull 2.
Housefull 2 is the sequel to the 2010 film Hosefull, directed by Sajid Khan. Kumar will be seen shirtless in the introductory scene of the sequel. He will be seen fighting villains in the freezing cold for almost ten minutes.
No other Bollywood film has been shot in Antarctica before because of the extreme cold and also permissions. Khan said, “Yes, I’m shooting Akshay’s introductory action sequence for Housefull 2 in Antarctica. It’s the coldest place in the world. Only documentaries have been shot there. God willing, Housefull 2 will be the first feature to be shot in that continent.”
Besides Kumar, Housefull 2 stars Deepika Padukone, Riteish Deshmukh and john Abraham among others.
