Amitabh Bachchan has his hands full with almost 10 films

MUMBAI: Amitabh Bachchan has been part of the Hindi film industry for four decades now but he’s still tough competition to his younger counterparts. The veteran actor is one of the busiest stars even today.

In 2009, the actor seems to have his hands full. Bachchan has completed shooting for films like Teen Patti, Aladin, Rann and Johnny Mastana. Balki’s Paa, which also stars Abhishek Bachchan, is also almost complete with the last few days of shoot left.

According to a post on Bachchan’s official blog on BigAdda.com, the actor has at least 10 films in the pipeline. Paa should be complete by June end after which Bachchan will start shooting for Ravi Chopra’s Pocket Maar, Chenab Gandhi directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali, a film by Feroz Nadiadwala, Prakash Jha’s film, Samar Khan’s Daddu Tum, a film for PVR called Diamond Bob, a film titled Jewel of India with a Hollywood director, Adrenalin with Muzzafar Ali and a film with Pritish Nandy called The Actor.

Besides all the films that he has signed, Bachchan is also considering two television shows and also rendering the Hanuman Chalisa along with composer Aadesh Srivastava, he writes.

Bachchan wrote on his blog that he is also in the midst of signing a contract with BigAdda.com for an audio blog. At present, the actor blogs on the website single everyday.

Also in the pipeline are IIFA Awards, which are slated to take place next month in Macao. Additionally, plans are also afoot to take the Unforgettable Tour across India as well as other nations in the East and the South.

What’s more, the actor also has at least 23 scripts lying for consideration!
