MUMBAI: The senior Bachchan is on the roll again. If you thought his recent illness would slow down his number of releases, you are mistaken. The super star of yesteryears is all set to start shoot in April beginning for Ram Gopal Varma’s Nishabd. The film is a sensitive portrayal of a peculiar love story between a 55-year-old man (played by Big B) and a young actress.
Though Ramu has denied it, there are strong rumours that the film has been inspired from a novel titled Lolita. According to the filmmaker the latter dwells on a sexual relationship between the odd couple while his film is far from it. Instead it is a complete emotional love story.
Talking of Big B’s busy schedule, he will also be shooting for Sunil Manchanda’s Cheeni Kam. He is cast opposite Tabu. The interesting cast also includes Paresh Rawal who plays Tabu’s father and Zohra Sehgal who plays Amitabh Bachchan’s mother.
