MUMBAI: Amitabh Bachchan has lent his voice on many an occasion, but perhaps for the first time, the actor has taken time out to sit and compose a track for Emami Navratna Tel. Bachchan is the brand ambassador for the same and the jingle has music by Vishal – Shekhar.
Musical duo Vishal – Shekhar said, “Mr. Bachchan not only sang the song, but he actually composed it. Once we started on the track, Mr. B advised us and seeing how well it was turning out to be, we just went with the pace.”
Confirming the development to Businessofcinema.com, Bachchan said, “Yes, I did a song for Emami Navratna Tel with Vishal and Shekhar. We all just went into their studio and jammed. Actually, I often do that with them and it was good fun.”
The Big B likes to keep busy. And although he was busy shooting for his home production, Paa, directed by Balki, Bachchan took out some time for one of his favourite pastimes. The recording took place at Vishal Shekhar’s studio in Bandra a week ago.
