MUMBAI: After making three period films consecutively namely Dhyaasparva, Anaahat and Paheli, Amol PalekarÃƒÂ¢Ã¢â€šÂ¬Ã¢â€žÂ¢s first bilingual film Quest is all set to release on 29 September. The film (Quest in English and Thaang in Marathi) offers a fast paced contemporary depiction of an urban coupleÃƒÂ¢Ã¢â€šÂ¬Ã¢â€žÂ¢s life.
Sai and Aditya weave their lives together through professional pressures, personal confusions, and individual dilemmas. Their quest for finding solutions despite the disillusive reality remains incessant.
Quest has already been selected in many foreign festivals like the Brisbane Film Festival (Australia), which hosted the world premier of the film on 6 July.
The film stars Mrinal Kulkarni, Rishi Deshpande, Shishir Sharma, Vijaya Mehta, Sachin Khedekar, Mukta Barve, Rama Joshi, Rakesh Sarang, Amruta Subhash, Sonali Kulkarni and Pramila.
