At a recent press conference Kapoor and Chopra had also said that the release of their upcoming movie Anjaana Anjaani should be postponed as it coincides with the verdict of Ram Janmabhoomi-Babri Masjid issue.
Kapoor said, “It is an important day for the country. I hope there is no dispute and the decision is favorable to all. Audiences may not be able to go watch the film on that day. With security being deployed in many places it will be practical to postpone the film’s release by a week or so as some may not be able to go watch it. It is not in my hands but we are in talks with the producer. There are too many people involved in the release of a film and it may be difficult to push the release as booking of theaters are already made."
"It is a big day for all of us. Even I think the film should not be released on September 24 when such a big decision is going to be announced," added Chopra.
The movie is is produced by Sajid Nadiadwala and also stars Zayed Khan.
