MUMBAI: Bombay distributors Balaji Exhibitors are on a buying spree. Recently they have acquired Bombay distribution rights for Bhojpuri films like Didi Tora Dewar Deewana, Rangdi Chunariya Tohare Naam and Bairi Piya.

Balaji Exhibitors’ Rajesh Singh and Pappu Ajani said, “Bhojpuri films does not need heavy investments. Earlier we had successfully released Ho Gail Ba Pyaar Odhniya Wali Se, Sainya Sipahiya and Zulaniya Lai Da Rajaji. Last Friday we had released Chacha Bhatija at Alankar and other cinemas. All were profitable deals.”

“We are even gearing up to release our first production. It is a Bhojpuri film titled as Kasam Dharti Maiya Ki and is directed by Ajay Sinha. After this we are looking out for more production ventures too,” they added.
