MUMBAI: Balaji Exhibitors will release Bhojpuri film Banke Bihari MLA on 16 February 2007.
Says Balaji Exhibitors’ Pappu Ajani, “We are releasing the Ravi Kissen – Rambha starrer Banke Bihari MLA with five to seven prints in Bombay. Dreamland is the main cinema hall and the rest will be finalised in a day or two. 2006 was a successful year for us as the Bombay distributors of Bhojpuri films. This year too started on a good note with Mithun Chakraborty’s first Bhojpuri film Coolie celebrating a 50 day run. Another film which we had distributed, Bhaiya Khiladi Bhauji Anadi, has also celebrated 50 days at Sheetal Kurla and other theatres. Our own production, Kasam Dharti Maiya Ki is also doing well.”
In the last one year, Balaji has distributed Ho Gail Ba Pyaar Odhaniyawali Se, Sainya Sipahiya, Chacha Bhatija, Didi Tora Dewar Deewana, Zulmi Sangh Ankh Ladi, Raksha Bandhan, Ho Gail Ba Pyaar Odhniya Wali Se and other films.
