BIG FM appoints new head for national content

MUMBAI: BIG FM has appointed Soela Joshi as director – national content planning. Joshi comes from the advertising industry with experience in strategic planning on brands like Fair & Lovely, Clinic Plus, Marico, Fortune Oil, Parle G, Frooti, Bharti Axa Life Insurance, Diageo, Anne French and IOC.

 


In her new role, Joshi will be responsible for the overall content strategy of the station and will report to BIG 92.7 FM national marketing head Anand Chakravarthy.


 


Chakravarthy said, “In the media business, where content planning plays a very vital role, we are extremely happy to have Soela with us. Given her excellent track record and rich experience in strategic planning it is going to work wonderfully for BIG 92.7 FM’s 31 Station strong Network, soon approaching the count of 45!”


 


Joshi added, “After working for nine years in advertising, I am happy to be working in an organisation, which has a BIG vision and is on the growth path. What excites me most about this assignment is the top management’s focus on strategy that will be based on strong consumer insights.”


 

Joshi started her career in Lowe where she spent almost five years and then moved to Triton and her last assignment was in Grey Worldwide where she headed strategic planning in Mumbai.
