MUMBAI: Following Shweta Agnihotri’s appointment at BIG Music and Home Entertainment as COO, now Sunil Meghrajani has been roped in as assistant vice president, digital and new media.
Incidentally, both Agnihotri and Meghrajani come from music company Saregama and will report to BIG Music and Home Entertainment CEO Kulmeet Makkar, who also happens to have spent more than a decade at Saregama.
At BIG Music and Home Entertainment, Meghrajani will supervise the Internet, mobile and radio media.
Commenting on his appointment, Makkar says, “These days since music is composed more on digital platforms than in physical form, his is a critical portfolio at BIG. He will be supported with a strong team for these three mediums.”
Prior to this Meghrajani worked with Saregama for two years as counselor for digital and new media. He has a total of 17 years’ experience in the industry, which extends across gaming company Milestone for two years and at Magna Sound, where he handled marketing and A&R (Artists and Repertoire) for 13 years.
