MUMBAI: The Internet and Mobile Association of India (IAMAI), the representative association of internet and mobile value added services (VAS) companies in India, announced their annual flagship conference – The India Digital Summit 2008 – in partnership with Intel.
The speakers will be those people who have shaped the internet and mobile VAS industry across the world in the US, UK, Hong Kong SAR, Korea and Japan. A number of Indian business leaders from companies like the Bhartamatrimony Group, IL&FS Ltd, People Group and Starcom Media Vest Group will also be participating.
This is one of the rare few industry meets and perhaps the only one in the internet space which the Department of Information and Technology supports annually recognizing the importance of the internet consumers in India. The Summit is now in its third edition and it is expected that 400 delegates would attend on the first day and around 300 delegates on the second.
