MUMBAI: One surely remembers the fun filled antics of the comical duo of Bunty and Babli (Abhishekh and Rani) in Yash Chopra’s Bunty Aur Babli. Now another duo – Bunty and Babla (Akshay and Govinda) will be seen in Shree Ashtavinayak Cinevision Ltd and Popkorn Motion Pictures Pvt Ltd’s BhagamBhag.
This is the first time that Akshay Kumar and Govinda have been paired together in a film.
“BhagamBhag is all about the hilarious trials and tribulations, Akshay (Bunty) and Govinda (Babla) together go through as theatre artistes with Paresh Rawal’s (Champak) theatre group. A laugh riot, which involves the trio running around from pillar to post trying to avoid unexpected and funny situations, only to find themselves getting deeper into trouble. You will not believe the two of them have a magical chemistry onscreen and the pranks and gags are like never seen before. Everyone will love Bunty and Babla in my movie,” says Priyadarshan, the director of the movie.
The movie also stars Lara Dutta, Tanushree Dutta, Arbaaz Khan, Shakti Kapoor, Rajpal Yadav, Asrani, Manoj Joshi and Jackie Shroff and will be released on 22 December.
