Cartoon Network’s Hero Up Challenge calls kids to create own superheroes

MUMBAI: Cartoon Network’s Hero Up Challenge is calling on kids to create their own super-powered heroes to win exclusive Cartoon Network goodies, new gadgets and an exciting chance to see their creations brought to life on TV.

 

From the first week of May – 13 June, 2010, Cartoon Network is asking for kids’ suggestions on new heroes through the Hero Up Challenge.

 

As part of the challenge, Cartoon Network conducted a survey on www.cartoonnetworkindia.com to discover what Indian kids think about the growing environmental problems and how they can be solved. The survey received an overwhelming response with 2879 kids ,between 7 -15 years of age, sharing their thoughts and suggestions on environmental issues.

 

Kids have to invent a super hero–complete with a name and its super powers. Entries can be submitted entry via sms. There will be 50 weekly prizes every week across 5 weeks, prizes include:Remote controlled cars, spy ware, watches, Action figurines & roller skates.

 

The Ultimate Hero is revealed at the end of the campaign and will be showcased On-Air.
