Cinema star Sushmita Sen denies writing autobiography

Mumbai: Few days ago Sushmita Sen was in news as she was to write her autobiography named The Butterfly. We recently met her at a bookstore where she was present to launch a book and she denied the news saying, “Recently in an interview a journalist asked me if I would ever write my own autobiography. So I said why not, someday when I think I have enough to write about my life, I would write my autobiography.” She further adds, “He than asked me what would I name it, so I said I would call it Butterfly.” Angrily she continues, “And the next thing I see is that I am in the headlines saying that I am writing my autobiography.”

But why does she want to name her autobiography Butterfly? “What the world calls as the end of a caterpillars life, God calls it the beginning of a Butterfly’s life”, she says with a big smile on her face.

Well, no autobiography is ok. But what about her film based on Rani Laxmibai’s life? “A lot of research has to be done on that subject before I start making the film. The subject is very dear to me and I do not want to go wrong with it.” When asked what makes the subject so dear to her, she says, “There are so many sons who have fought for their mothers.
