Cinemax launches a magazine for sale

Mumbai:Movie exhibition company Cinemax Cinemas launched a monthly film magazine titled Cinemax Magazine on August 17, 2006. The magazine will provide an insight into the world of Bollywood and events taking place at all Cinemax multiplexes.

Speaking at the launch, Devang Sampat, GM, Marketing and Sales, Cinemax, said, "The content will focus on Cinemax’s expansion plans, its activities and events, and will also endeavor to take a note of fellow achievers." The magazine Cinemax is priced at Rs 40 per issue and is also available for a yearly subscription. It will be sold at all the Cinemax multiplexes.

The first issue is features on Esha Deol, Gul Panag, photographs of celebrities who visit the Cinemax premises at times of premieres, cultural activities etc. In future we also plan to increase the editorial content by adding facts and figures of the film trade and news about multiplexes," informs Girish Wankhede, Editor, Cinemax magazine.

Inox had launched a similar magazine earlier. Titled INOX
O2, it is supposed to have a print run of 45000 copies and is distributed nationally through their multiplexes.
