Cinemax targets kids this summer

MUMBAI: The Cinemax multiplex in Versova, Mumbai has launched a ‘SummerX’ month, which is slated to be a month long period of children’s and classic movies during the ongoing vacation.


Aimed at targeting children and their families, the multiplex intends to screen Harry Potter, Ice Age II, Cars and Rob B Hood. The shows will be screened every Sunday at 9 am. Apart from the films, workshops are being organised for children in a bid to tap their creative ability.


Passes for the shows will be available at Rs 299, entitling the viewer to four movies and access to the workshops. The initiative is targeted at children between six and 12.


The multiplex also recently premiered two films scheduled to release this week at the multiplex, including TMNT and the Kashmera Shah starrer My Bollywood Bride.


The list of celebrities present at the back to back premieres included film and television personalities like Aman Verma, Sanjay Suri, Pooja Bedi, Bikram Saluja, Shaan, Aryan Vaid and Ash Chandler.
