Cinemax theatres get ent tax exemption

MUMBAI: Cinemax India Ltd. has been granted Entertainment Tax Exemption for its multiplexes at Kandivali East located at Akurli Road, and also for its Thane West property, located at the Eternity Mall, Teen Hath Naka, for a period of five years effective from 20 October, 2006 in accordance with the entertainment tax exemption policy as applicable in the State of Maharashtra.


 


With this grant, six Cinemax multiplexes comprising a total of 24 screens in Mumbai and Nasik now have entertainment tax exemptions for variable years.
