Compact Disc bags $16 million animation deal

MUMBAI: Compact Disc India has secured an animation feature film outsourcing contract for Eternal Love.

The contract value is $15.70 million. Eternal Love is a a story about true love and revolves around an architectural masterpiece – Taj Mahal.

Taj Mahal has a life of its own that leaps out of marble provided one understand that it is full of poetry and the romance that shroud it.

Few Hollywood celebraties are also involved with this project. They are planning to simultaneously produce a live action feature film besides a musical drama for Broadway.

This animation feature film is slated to be released in December 2009.

Compact Disc India chairman Suresh Kumar said, "This is a milestone for CDI and an important achievement for the Indian animation industry. The history of Taj Mahal is deeply rooted in the culture and heritage of India. Besides, as this architectural masterpiece is one of the Renowned World Wonders, we are proud to be associated with this project."
