Dev Anand to make two films in 2007

MUMBAI: Legendary actor and filmmaker Dev Anand, who has just finished penning his autobiography Romancing With Life, plans to make two films this year.

The first film, a quickie titled Charge Sheet, will be a murder mystery to be shot in a single schedule in March at a hill station. Anand says he is still hunting for a suitable location. The second, an experimental English film, When Heartbeats Are The Same in Croatia, will be launched in May 2007.

Anand is meanwhile awaiting the release of his autobiography by Penguin Books, scheduled to coincide with his 84th birthday on 26 September this year. The last feature film he made was Mr Prime Minister, in 2005.

“I hope to complete both the films by the time my book is released,” says Anand.
