Mumbai: Dishtv has launched a Happy Home Pack at the price of Rs 100, which is customized to offer best in entertainment in all genres such as general entertainment channels, sports, business, news, movies and break free cinema. This pack also provides regional channels in eight languages.
Dishtv has also announced that at an initial price of Rs 1990, Dishtv subscribers will take home the set top box along with dish antenna and can enjoy 12 months subscription of the happy Home pack (125 channels) free.
"Our offer is in line with our overall target of acquiring five million DTH subscribers by 31 March 2009. At Rs 100 per month, we are offering the largest bouquet of channels — something for everyone in the Home. This will help us speed up the subscriber acquisitions. Now owning a DTH will become more affordable for the consumers. We have reduced the entry-level price of monthly subscriptions on DTH platform to Rs 100, which is very competitive with the existing monthly charges paid by consumers to their local cable operators," said Dishtv CEO Vinay Agarwal.
Four add on packs are also provided free for three months to the subscribers which include Cartoon Network, Pogo, HBO, Zee Studio, Zee Cafe, Zee Premiere, Zee Action, Zee Classic, Ten Sports and Zee Sports.
