DQ Entertainment’s Herlihy retires; Anthony Good comes on board

Mumbai: DQ Entertainment plc’s non executive director Michael Herlihy has decided not to seek re-election at the AGM and has therefore retired from the Board with immediate effect in order to pursue other commitments.

Additionally, the company has appointed Anthony B M Good to the board, as an independent non-executive director, with immediate effect.

Commenting on Michael’s decision DQ Entertainment chairman and CEO Tapaas Chakravarti said, "The entire Board joins me to thank Michael for his valuable contribution and guidance to the Company and to the Board in particular. We wish Michael all the best for his personal and professional future pursuits."

Herlihy added, "It has been a privilege to be associated with DQE during its launch as an AIM listed company and I wish Tapaas and the whole team every success in what I am sure will be a very exciting future."

Good currently serves as the Chairman of Cox & Kings, UK & India, Good Relations India and Good Consultancy. He has also acted as a strategic advisor to the Board members of Marks & Spencer and Scottish & Newcastle, among others.

Chakravarti added, "We are delighted to welcome Tony to the Board. Tony brings with him quality and extensive corporate experience, being associated with several multinational companies that have listed on the London Stock Exchange. Considering his wide industrial and market exposure, we are confident that he will make an excellent contribution to the company."
