DQE signs home video distribution deal for Iron Man

MUMBAI: DQE has entered into an exclusive home video distribution agreement for DQE’s 3D animated series with TIGA Entertainment, a Thailand based company.

Under the terms of the agreement, TIGA has acquired the home video rights for Iron Man- Armoured adventures season 1 in English and Thai for the region of Thailand. This five year agreement signifies DQE’s maiden foray into the strategic and niche home video distribution market of Thailand.

TIGA has a comprehensive marketing business plan for Home Video Distribution (HVD) for animation content in Thailand.

DQE Group chairman & CEO Tapaas Chakravarti said, “Our high octane animated superhero, Iron Man, debuted in Thailand on Turner Entertainment Networks’ children’s channel and received rave reviews. The action packed adventure series of Iron Man has garnered a huge fan following amongst children in this region. This maiden foray into the Thai home video market for DQE is incredibly exciting. We believe that the home video market in Thailand is perfectly suited for DQE’s entertainment content, and we are very pleased to make Iron Man available to a wider audience with the help of TIGA.”
