DreamWorks’ Shelley Page to give lecture at Whistling Woods

Mumbai: Whistling Woods International (WWI) will host a guest lecture on animation on 7 August between 2 – 5 pm. The workshop will be conducted by DreamWorks SKG Feature, Animation head of international outreach Shelley Page.

DreamWorks Animation has been responsible for some of the biggest and most groundbreaking titles in the business such as Who Framed Roger Rabbit?, The Prince Of Egypt, Antz, and Shrek.

Page started her career in feature animation as backgrounds supervisor on Disney’s Who Framed Roger Rabbit?, which she followed by joining Steven Spielberg’s Amblimation Studio in London. She was one of the first artists hired to form DreamWorks Animation in Los Angeles in 1995, and is currently DreamWorks’ European Representative resourcing new talent for the studio.
Page is on the advisory board and jury of the London Animation and Effects Festival (LEAF), and the 3D Festival (Copenhagen). She is also on the advisory board or graduation jury of several leading 3D animation schools including Bournemouth University NCCA program, Supinfocom (France), and Gobelins (France).
