Eagle Films’ Umesh Mehra on Rose d’Or Festival jury

MUMBAI: Producer-director Umesh Mehra has been nominated as a member on the 49th Rose d’Or Festival Of Television Programming being held from 2 – 5 May in Lucerne, Switzerland.

Mehra’s banner, Eagle Films, founded by his father late F C Mehra in 1953, has been active in film as well as television production. Their television serial, Office Office is now being made into a film. It is directed by Rajiv Mehra, who also directed the serial.

Mehra says, "We hope to sign a co-production agreement during this period for a project titled Waltz On The Raga."

The Rose d’Or Festival, held annually in Lucerne, Switzerland, draws the best of the year’s new entertainment and television programming. It also boasts the most important business rendezvous platform for the onscreen entertainment community. Entry forms for the Rose d’Or competition are sent to more than 2000 producers and broadcasters, internationally.
