MUMBAI: Online market site, eBay India and Nanhikali, a NGO for the education of the underprivileged girl child, is providing online Indians an opportunity to meet actor Shreyas Talpade, the star of the recent release, Dil Dosti Etc. over a cup of coffee.
Fans can bid on the charity auction on eBay India between 28 September and 8 October. All the proceeds of the auction will be donated to Nahhikali.
Starting at Re 1, the highest bidder will partake of an evening with Talpade. His other films are Nagesh Kukunoor’s Iqbal and Dor.
eBay India Charity Fundraising programme is a special section dedicated to NGOs and socially responsible corporates and enables recognized charities to create awareness, raise funds and also list products and merchandise for sale to millions of global and Indian users. In India, eBay has raised over 1.64 crores for NGOs through celebrity and high profile listings as well as direct donations.
