Kabul Express to be screened at London and Pusan Film Fesivals after Toronto fest

Mumbai: Barely has the excitement around the invitation to the Toronto
International Film Festival had died down, here comes the news that Yash Raj Films’ Kabul Express. Now the film has been invited to participate in the London Film Festival and the Pusan Film Festival.

To be held this year from October 18 to November 2, this year happens to be the more significant, as it marks the 50 th anniversary of the
London Film Festival which is a non-competitve festival. The strong Indian connection is the Satyajit Ray award – a special award for the first time film maker and sought after by the first time directors.

The Pusan Film Festival is the prestigious event in Asia. It is a well accepted forum, to discover new talent and their works from around the
globe. This festival will be held from 12 to 20 October.For debutant director Kabir Khan it is a privilege. A press release from Yash Raj Films says, “The honours demonstrate that there are no
boundaries for Indian cinema.

We are proud to receive invitations to all the prestigious festivals.” Kabul Express is scheduled for an October release all over.
