MUMBAI: Since they started shooting from 1 April, the unit of Excel Entertainment’s Karthik Calling Karthik has traveled to three different places.
Excel Entertainment head honcho Ritesh Sidhwani says, "Since the film was planned with a start to finish schedule, we have been on the move. We started in Mumbai, then shifted base to Lonavala for a few days. We shot in Cochin and now we are back in Mumbai. The shooting for the film will be complete by the first week of June."
Karthik Calling Karthik is being directed by Vijay Lalwani and stars Farhan Akhtar, Deepika Padukone and Shefali Shah.
Elaborating on the film, Sidhwani says, "The film is a thriller. Since the backdrop of the film is Cochin, we shot for a few days there. Scenes were filmed by the waterfront and the jetty, which were part of the script."
The unit is back in Mumbai and will continue shooting till June.
