MUMBAI: Excel home videos and Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment releases sci-fi epic space adventure Star Wars on DVD. The series has been released individually and in two trilogy packs.
The movies include: Star Wars Episode I: The Phantom Menace, Star Wars Episode II: Attack Of The Clones, Star Wars III: Revenge Of The Sith, Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope, Star Wars: Episode V – The Empire Strikes Back and Star Wars: Episode VI – Return Of The Jedi.
The overall box office revenue generated by the six Star Wars films is approximately $4.3 billion, making it the third highest grossing series. It has spawn other media including books, television series, video games and comic books. George Lucas, the director, is one of the American film industry’s most financially successful independent director, with an estimated net worth of $3.0 billion as of 2009.
The DVDs are available in all leading stores across the country and is priced at Rs. 499.00 and the Trilogy pack is priced at Rs. 1199.00.
