Executive reshuffle at Big 92.7 FM

Mumbai: BIG 92.7 FM has announced executive movements in its Southern and Western regions. P. B. Ramaswamy will be the new Cluster Head-Tamil Nadu, who was the Station Manager-Chennai. Also, Arjun Singgh Baran has been elevated to Regional Director for Operations-West and Sudarshan Saha has stepped in as the new Station Head-Mumbai.
In his new role as the Cluster Head-Chennai, Ramaswamy will look after the entire functioning of BIG 92.7 FM stations across Tamil Nadu. In addition to looking after the day-to-day functioning of Chennai Station he will also look after the Pondicherry Station along with the other stations to be launched in Tamil Nadu post the 3rd phase of licensing. During his stint at BIG 92.7 FM as Station Head-Chennai, Ramaswamy contributed towards re-defining the station’s positioning as the only station in Chennai which celebrates ‘Pride of Tamilians’ through its wholesome programming and on ground offerings.
As Station Head-Mumbai, Baran was the man behind setting up of the Mumbai Station. With a vision to succeed in the media sales business, he will now be responsible for the overall functioning of the Western Region as Regional Director of Operations-West, BIG 92.7FM.This includes the states of Maharashtra, MP, Gujarat and Goa.
 
Saha, as the new Station Manager-Mumbai, will be looking after the entire on-air and on-ground offerings for the Mumbai station. He joined BIG 92.7 FM as head content planning during the start-up and post-launch phase after which he handled the marketing portfolio for the Western Region before being elevated to the position of station head-Mumbai.
Sudarshan has helped the Mumbai Station launch many successful campaigns by effortlessly taking the station to a number one position in cumulative reach as per the recent RAM data.
The new movements at BIG 92.7 FM are part of the company’s HR – Talent Management Strategy to nurture talent within the organization and provide internal growth opportunities.
