Fame record highest ever collections

MUMBAI: The festive season is a good period for film releases as it rakes in more moolah. One such success case is that of Fame Multiplexes, which had some record breaking collections from 20 October to 26 October.

Fame gathered its second highest gross collections for a film at Fame Surat with Rs 5,400,000. Fame also saw its highest weekly gross collection at Fame Malad with Rs 5,200,000 and Fame Kandivali with Rs 4,000,000. On the other hand, Fame Kolkata garnered its highest movie net with the Shah Rukh Khan starrer Don at Rs 1,400,000.

While Fame Kolkata had its highest footfall of 15,000, Fame Surat had a footfall of 45,000 during this Diwali – Eid period.

But Fame is not keeping the celebrating of these collections to themselves alone. In association with Travel Port, Fame Multiplexes is offering a free holiday to its patrons in Mumbai, Nasik, Pune, Surat and Kolkata. By watching a movie at Fame Multiplexes, patrons get an assured holiday package for two adults and two children for free.

This holiday package (vacpac) is a sure shot prize given to every patron who buys two tickets plus a food and beverage combo at the box-office counter. In return the patron will be provided with a vacpac voucher valid for a period of one year from the date of issue. The holiday package is valid for one night and two days for any one of the destinations which includes Goa, Jaipur, Jodhpur, Shimla, Ooty, Kodaikanal, Mussourie, Udaipur, Agra etc.

Commenting on the promotion, Shringar Cinemas Limited senior manager marketing Abhishek Raina said, “This is purely to let patrons get a high experiential value every time they come to Fame. We at Fame will keep innovating in bringing such schemes and create a ‘WOW’ factor for every moviegoer. We are sure patrons will appreciate such initiatives from Fame.”
