Farah Khan to choreograph for Italian film in Rome

MUMBAI: After shooting three advertisements in one month, Farah Khan is clearly eager to get into her choreographer shoes. The director will be off to Rome in June to shoot for an Italian film.

Speaking to Businessofcinema.com, Farah says, "The film is called Oggi Spassi and is being directed by Luca Luciano. It is a story of an Italian and Indian romance. One song will be choreographed by me, which will have touches of Indian and Italian dance steps."

The new dance form that Farah is getting familiar with is called Tarantara. This Italian dance will be blended with traditional Indian steps to give it the fusion feel.

The last film that Farah choreographed was for Kylie Minogue’s special song in Blue. Shot in Film City amidst tight security, Farah says about Kylie, "She rehearsed for a couple of days prior to the shoot and was thus able to do the steps with minimum effort. She is a good dancer and we all had fun shooting the song."
