Feroze Khan’s Kurbani remake to launch in July

MUMBAI: Feroze Khan’s forthcoming film, titled Kurbani, will be launched in July 2007.

Khan will produce and direct the film. Sources say the film’s script is ready and has shades of the original 1980 version made by Khan. The producer is currently on the lookout for a new girl to play the lead. Jackie Shroff, Fardeen Khan and Priyanka Chopra will feature in the film and Feroze Khan is expected to play the role of the inspector, essayed by Amjad Khan in the original.

Says Khan, “I will be introducing a new girl in the lead. The moment the girl is finalised, we will launch the film.”

Khan last made Janasheen in 2003, but the film failed at the box office. He has, in the interim, acted in films made by outside banners, like Cash and Welcome.
