MUMBAI: Sahara’s movie channel Filmy will present three movies depicting different facets of motherhood on Mother’s Day, that fall on 13 May 2007.
The sacrificing mother of Janani, the possessive mother of Aulad, and the cruel mother of Sau Din Saas Ke are the three facets that will be explored by the channel this Sunday.
Touching movies with power packed performances by characters who have lived their roles, be it Lalita Pawar in Sau Din Saas Ke, or Sridevi and Jaya Prada who both play mothers to the same child in Aulad and Janani, which aims to delve into a surrogate mother’s love for her child will be aired on Filmy.
The three films will be aired at 10 am, 3 pm and 8 pm respectively.
