MUMBAI: Fox Star Studios and Ramesh Sippy, will release Dum Maaro Dum, starring Abhishek Bachchan, on 4 February, 2011. The movie is being directed by Rohan Sippy.
"The film is shaping up very well and the audiences should get ready to enjoy a gripping, moving film with great visual appeal, coming their way on 4 February," says Sippy.
"We are excited about Dum Maro Dum as it has a great script, it’s vibrant and contemporary and we expect the film to appeal to a wide audience. The February timing is perfect as it is strategically timed just before the World Cup cricket. The window of late January and early February works for us also as we are familiar with the release environment during that period," adds Fox Star Studios CEO Vijay Singh.
Dum Maro Dum also stars Bipasha Basu, Rana Daggubati, Pratik Babbar and Aditya Panscholi. The film’s first schedule in Goa is complete and the second schedule in Mumbai went on floors recently. Dum Maaro Dum is written by Shridhar Raghavan and has music and lyrics by Pritam and Jaideep Sahni respectively.
