Fun announces kids’ fest from 27 April

MUMBAI: The Fun Cinemas chain of multiplexes has announced its annual Summer Kids Film Festival from 27 April to 3 May 3 2007, in cities across India.


The festival will comprise a week of films, workshops and other entertaining activities. Running in eight cities and 10 locations, the festival is open to children between six and 15.


Screening of films like Shrek-2, Madagascar, Iqbal, Hanuman, Finding Nemo, Krishna, Chicken Run, Scooby Doo 2 and others will begin at 11 am every morning with other events planned during the interval and after each film.


There will be art and craft workshops and competitions as well as talks on oral-care during the interval of each film which will be organised and conducted by Fevicol and Colgate-Palmolive. Gift hampers will be given to children as part of the activities conducted during the workshop.


In addition to daily passes, a discounted seven-day season pass is also available at each location entitling the pass holder to two McDonalds Happy Meals which can be redeemed at McDonald’s outlets. Tickets are available at each location from 22 April 2007.
