MUMBAI: E-City Ventures promoted Fun Cinemas has launched a 2K digital multiplex in Mumbai’s Chembur suburb. The multiplex has five screens with a total seating capacity of 1253 seats.
Fun Cinemas chief operating officer Vishal Kapur said, "A multiplex in Chembur has been long overdue with the residents in this suburb having to travel far away to watch movies in a good ambience. With our latest property, patrons in and around Chembur are sure to feel like a star in a world class cinema viewing infrastructure."
Kapur added, "We have launched the multiplex with the inaugural pricing of Rs 100 and Rs 120 for Silver and Gold class respectively."
Located at K Star Mall, Near Diamond Garden, Chembur (East), the cinema was inaugurated with movies like Paying Guest and X-Men Origins Wolverine.
Fun Cinemas currently has 72 screens. The chain has also entered new markets like Ahmedabad, Chandigarh, Panipat, Gwalior and Agra.
