Fun Cinemas showcases NDTV Lumiere movies

MUMBAI: Fun Cinemas in association with NDTV Lumiere will be screening critically acclaimed films from across the world. The films will be screened once a week from 3 April onwards at Fun Cinemas in Bangalore and Delhi.

These movies include award winning international cinema from Cannes, Berlin, Toronto, Locarno, Pusan and Venice Film Festivals. The first film to be screened is Persepolis, which has won, among others, the jury prize at the Festival de Cannes in 2007.

Fun Cinemas senior vice president marketing Shirish Handa says, “We are delighted to present these films that are usually not visible on the big screen. The eclectic mix of genres, the never-before technical brilliance and excellent novel narratives will expose our movie-buffs to a whole new world of cinema. These movies include flavors of thriller, romantic comedy, adventure, suspense and even horror! We have made sure that we cater to every mood and preference.”

Fun Cinemas in association with NDTV Lumiere will showcase one movie in a week at 7 pm in Bangalore and 8 pm in Delhi. The movies will also have sub-titles in English. Some of the other movies that will be screened are: The Orphanage, Crossed Tracks, Caramel, Days of Glory, I’m Not There and Out of Bound.
