MUMBAI: Fun Cinemas will host the 14 European Union Film Festival in Mumbai, which will be held from 13-21 March at Fun Republic Mall in Andheri.
The EU Film Festival will showcase two movies everyday in the evening at 6 pm and 8 pm. The movies will also have sub-titles in English.
Fun Cinemas senior vice president marketing Shirish Handa says, “It is a matter of pride for Fun Cinemas to be the first multiplex ever to partner with the European Union in promoting their cinema. Fun Cinemas EU Film Festival includes flavors of thriller, romantic comedy, adventure, fantasy, suspense and even horror! We have made sure that we cater to every mood and preference.”
The festival will show 17 European movies from Spain, Belgium, Austria, Spain, Sweden, Italy and Ireland. The EU Film Festival is a bouquet of films that give vivid reflections of the cultural streams of Europe and stories that describe the European life.
Some of the films to be screened include Czech Dream, The Black Pimpernel, Could This Be Love, Seven Billiards Tables, Arabian Nights, Beauty And The Bastard, Return Of The Storks, Totally Married, A Perfect Match and Welcome Home.
