MUMBAI: E-City Ventures promoted Fun Republic Ahmedabad is celebrating its sixth anniversary by hosting a Bachchan Film Festival from 27 July – 5 August.

The anniversary celebrations will be marked by a grand cake cutting ceremony, with a mammoth 25-kg cake specially ordered for the occasion.

Fun Republic associate vice president Gurbinder Kumar says, “Fun Republic Ahmedabad has become a comfortable hangout for youth and families alike. We have made great preparations to make this sixth anniversary at Fun Republic a memorable experience for the public. Besides the Big B movies, we would also have students who would paint portraits of Amitabh Bachchan.”

“The festival will also showcase a huge graffiti board where die-hard Bachchan fans can convey their messages to the Bollywood superstar,” he added.

The festival, which will be spread out over two weekends will include all-time favorite blockbusters of the legendary actor including Namak Halaal, Deewar, Trishul, Baghban, Sarkar and Muqaddar Ka Sikander. The movies will be showcased on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays over two weekends.
