MUMBAI: GV Films Ltd is considering to de-merge into three entities namely GV Studio City Ltd, GV Technologies Ltd and GV Films Ltd.
The company will consider the de-merger at its board meeting on 25 June, 2007.
While GV Studio City Ltd, will be involved in the multiplex and hospitality industries encompassing hotels, shopping malls and multi-screen theatres; GV Technologies Ltd will concentrate in Internet protocol and IPTV.
GV Films Ltd, on the other hand, will cover the entire production of films, television serials, distribution of films and providing content.
The company expects that the scheme of de-merger will give equal weightage to all the three divisions, which will enhance the shareholders wealth.
