Singeetham Srinivasa Rao to direct TRAFFIC JAM
Celluloid Dreams Pvt. Ltd. has signed Singeetham Srinivasa Rao to direct their Production No 2, titled Traffic Jam to be made in three languages – Hindi, Tamil and Telugu. Manisha Korde is writing the dialogue while screenplay is by Singeetham Srinivasa Rao and Manisha Korde. Cast and other credits are being finalized. The film will go on the sets in January next year.

Raja Chaudhary in CHAKRAVYUH
Raja Chaudhary has been signed to play one of the heroes of Intact Mass Entertainment’s maiden venture Chakravyuh – Ek Jaal . The rest of the cast and credits are being finalised. Meanwhile, the fifth song of the film was rendered by Sunidhi Chauhan.

KABHIE-KAHIN-ACHANAK launching
Mantras Music & Film’z’s Kabhie-Kahin-Achanak will be launched on Aug. 7 with a 5-day shooting stint. UTV’s HAT TRICK launching in Sept.
UTV Motion Pictures Hat Trick will be launched in September. The film is directed by Milan Luthria. Cast: Nana Patekar, Paresh Rawal and Naseeruddin Shah with Kunal Kapoor and Hema Malini.

AHISTA AHISTA due on Aug. 18
Producer Anjum Rizvi’s and Raju Shah presentation’s Ahista Ahista is due for release on August 18. The film stars Abhay Deol, Soha Ali Khan, Shayan Munshi, Murad Ali, and others, with music by Himesh Reshammiya. It is directed by Shivam Nair.

BAS EK PAL first copy
The first copy of Movies N More & Paramhans Creations’ Bas Ek Pal is out and the film is all set to release this August. The film which is being screened at the Osian Cinefan Festival in the competition section, stars Sanjay Suri, Urmila Mathondkar, Juhi Chawla, Jimmy Shergill and Rehaan Engineer with special appearances by Yashpal Sharma, Purab Kohli and Chetan Pandit. It is directed by Onir (of My Brother Nikhil fame) for producer Shailesh Singh and Monohar P. Kanungo.

COCKTAIL-The Deadly Combination rolls
Maa Chamunda International’s maiden Hindi venture Cocktail-The Deadly Combination was launched at Basra Studios on July 20, followed by shooting. The film is being directed by Manindra Bhandari and produced by T.M.Chaudhary. It has music by Praveen Kuwar, lyrics by Kuku Prabhas and cinematography by Shyamal Chakravorty. Cast: Waqar Khan, Samarth, Mushtaq Khan, Gufi Paintal, Raju Shreshtha, Damini, Vijay Bhatotiya and Prita Jain.

MERA DIL LEKE DEKKHO due on Aug 24
Shotgun Moviies’ maiden venture Mera Dil Leke Dekkho presented by Shatrughan Sinha and produced by Punam S Sinha, is being released all over India on August 24 through Sony Pictures. Cast: Koel Purie, Puneet Tejwani, Jackie Shroff, Archana Puran Singh, Caran Kapoor, Premjit and Neil. It is directed by Rohit Kaushik, with screenplay and dialogue by Nandita Puri and Rohit Kaushik, music by Jatin-Lalit and lyrics by Sameer.

JIMMY dubbing
The dubbing for High-Definition Motion Pictures’ Jimmy is in progress. The film introduces Mimoh Chakraborty and Pooja Singh in the lead. It co-stars Zulfi Sayed, Ashish Vidyarthi, Ehsaan Khan, Shakti Kapoor, Prithvi, Vineeta Thakur, Adi Irani, Vikas Anand, Gargi Patel, Vallabh Vyas with Vikas Kalantri (in friendly appearances) and Rahul Dev. The Fact Films & Runa Films’ Ek Sach-The Truth was launched on July 19 at Fashion Café. Rajoo Kariya sounded the mahurat clap.
