MUMBAI: Vishesh Films launched the DVDs and VCDs of Woh Lamhe on Saregama Home Video. By and large, one hears of music launches of films, but an event to launch home video of a movie is rather unusual. But one can always the unexpected from Bhatts.
Woh Lamhe stars Shiney Ahuja and Kangana Ranaut and is based on Mahesh Bhatt and Parveen Babi’s relationship.
The film released on 29 September during the Ramzaan period, which negatively affected the collections of the film at the box office. Now the film has entered its seventh week and in Delhi it collected Rs 33,938 (seven shows); in Allahabad Rs 40,100 and Hyderabad Rs 72,120 from one theatre each.
Saregama and Vishesh Films also celebrated their long standing relationship and the strings of musical successes they have had from Murder, Zeher to Gangster. Mukesh Bhatt and Mahesh Bhatt together presented mementos to the cast and crew of each of the above mentioned films.
Those present at the event included Mallika Sherawat, Shamita Shetty, Shiney Ahuja, Emraan Hashmi, Kanaga Ranaut, Mohit Suri, Anurag Basu, Annu Malek, Pritam amongst others. The Bhatts also presented mementos to their films’ distributors.
